Visit the complete FAQ
Does the $15 mobile notary price include travel?

No. The $15 price is the notarial fee for one eligible document. A separate travel fee starting at $35 is required for a mobile appointment.

Why is the mobile travel fee separate?

The travel fee covers travel time, mileage, appointment coordination, and location-based convenience. Keeping it separate makes the notarial fee and travel charge clear.

Can every document be notarized online?

No. Eligibility depends on the document, applicable law, signer circumstances, and receiving-party requirements. Contact us before purchasing if you are unsure.

Should I sign my document before the appointment?

No. Keep the document unsigned unless Barrett Remote Notary LLC specifically instructs you otherwise.

How long does a remote appointment take?

Most standard remote appointments take approximately 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the document, identity verification, signer readiness, and number of required notarial acts.

Can Barrett Remote Notary choose or prepare my document?

No. Barrett Remote Notary LLC provides notarial services but does not select, prepare, complete, interpret, or provide legal advice about documents.
